With the advancement in technology and the increase in the number of manufacturers of laptops, the prices of laptops in India have dropped steadily. There are a number of great brands of laptops that can be purchased at really low rates. But, are the cheap India laptops worth your money?

Laptop price has been decreasing over some time and they keep on decreasing one year after another. If you have compared laptop price over the internet, you may be surprised to see that those laptops which were priced at over Rs.50000 some time back are now available for just Rs.22000. It is because of the fact that technology changes all the time. For a better understating of this fact, consider the example of a VCR. If you have an old VCR of your parent's time at home, you can consider the price your parents paid for it when they purchased it.

At that time, maybe they paid about Rs.15000 for it.

As years went by, the same brand of VCR became even cheaper with the introduction of VCD and DVD players. As more years went by, VCR was replaced by DVD players. Today, you can no longer find VCR available for purchase because it has been outcompeted by DVD players.

Basically when one technology takes place of the other, you can find the prices of products going really down. Cheap does not necessarily mean poor quality and in the case of laptops, this is definitely not true. Since advancements in technology have taken place, things have just become more affordable. Laptop price have fallen and now some of the older brands of laptops are available at cheap prices. However, these laptops are still high quality, but available at a reduced price.

So are these cheap laptops worth your money?

The answer depends on a number of factors. As a shopper, you have to be aware of what you are investing your money in. There are many brands of laptops available and while some of them come from very reliable manufacturers, there are some which are not so reliable. So the choice is in your hands. If you purchase a cheap laptop from a reliable dealer, you will definitely get the most out of your purchase and that laptop will be well worth your money. On the other hand, if you are not careful when purchasing, you may simply end up purchasing a brand that is not considered to be reliable or among the best laptop brands.
