Hi, I'm currently with Netspace and never had any major problems. There might be the odd disconnection, but it is relatively stable. It's ADSL and i think 512k for $ 50 will get you 15GB peak time (7am-12am) and 15GB (12am - 7am). Otherwise if u want more speed and usage...theres the plan i'm on which is 1500k for $ 80 n thats 40GB (20-peak, 20-off peak) If you're not keen on them, try out www.whirlpool.net.au for some further help in finding the best plan for you. Okay don't try Petes plans they will rip you off BIG TIME considering it is still ADSL1 and if you want speed you will either have to go with an 8mbs ADSL1 or just go with ADSL2+ .. I have been with TPG for years even since ADSL1 and I have never had a problem. A few plan changes once in a while but we were well informed and agreed to most of what was offered. Don't go with the 150gig plan unless you like download stuff during the middle of the night while you are asleep. Im on a 30gig plan which gets capped to 128kbs(its old and not on the site) and i never have trouble with that. If you are willing to go a bit over your budget i reccommend the ADSL2+ Premium for $ 89.99 a month. Even when shaped after your monthly 50gigs you only get shaped to 256kbs leaving enough bandwidth for hassle free surfing. If you happy with a peak and off peak usage try the Heavy plan for $ 59.99 a month. But here you get shaped to 64kbs which starts to get unbareable because its pretty much dialup.
