What Are The Best Types of Items to Sell on eBay? [bestcomputersprices.blogspot.com]

A quick overview of how to remove the dust from within your desktop computer. The best thing to use is a compressed air can, you can buy them at a reasonable price off amazon or ebay. However if you can't wait you could use the nossle attachment on a vacuum cleaner taking care to ground it and not to touch the components but hover just above them. DON'T FORGET ABOUT STATIC---GROUND YOURSELF :) Got any questions or suggestions, ask in the comments.

One of the most asked questions I get is, "What are the best products to sell on eBay?"

The truth is that virtually anything will sell on eBay. But it must first of all be realized that nothing can be guaranteed - eBay is after all an open market place.

Here are some pointers which will lead you in the direction of finding the right type of products for you to sell:

a) Before we talk about actual products, at all times try and appear as if you know about what you're selling. You will look more professional as a seller, and sell more if you give good, authoritative auction descriptions. This is just another way of saying ideally you should be selling things about which you have knowledge - indeed a hobby can be the basis of a successful selling business on eBay.

b) Some items are much easier to mail than others. So, think about small, lightweight items - these are easier to store, pack and post. Jewelry fits the bill neatly.

c) The items ne ed to be robust enough to survive the handling they will get in the mail service. This also means they must be able to be well packaged. (Dropshipping is an alternative here, where someone else has the responsibility for packing and posting.)

d) Consider the debate between volume and value. Some items require volume sales to make reasonable profits. At the other end of the scale, expensive items could require a high investment but may return acceptable profits on low volumes of sales.

You can see this better perhaps with an example. Let's consider DVDs and cars. Selling DVDs on eBay is a highly competitive market, often with narrow profit margins per item. You can make good money selling DVDs, particularly in specialist niche markets, but it will pay to plan along the volume route.

By contrast, if you could sell one car per week with say £500 ($ 1,000) profit each time, this may be where you want to be.

But if you've only got one car, how can you ma ke a business out of selling one car? Easy, go and visit your nearest car dealer, preferably one who sells above average vehicles or even classic cars. Offer to put one of those cars in front of millions of eBay members on his behalf. Ask how much he wants for the car, and then put it on eBay with a Reserve Price of his figure, plus your profit!

If you need convincing of this opportunity, go and have a look at eBay Motors and see what buying traffic is being generated there!

One final tip. Information and computer products are also good to sell on eBay. Why is this? Because everyone looking on eBay has automatically qualified themselves as a prospect for both of these types of products.

First, they're using a computer to access eBay, so they are a prospective purchaser of digital products such as information.

Second, as they are a computer user, they are also potential buyers of computer accessories, upgrades, replacements and consumables.

Whate ver you decide to sell, you will definitely find a supply of potential buyers on eBay. With 168 million eBayers, you can be guaranteed that your item will be of interest to some members.

Question by ChristianFigureSkater: What's wrong with my camera? Can it be fixed at a reasonable price? Kodak C180? I got my camera this January. Then about 2 weeks ago i went to Pittsburgh with my class and all of the sudden my camera wouldn't turn on. I kept pressing the on/off button hoping it would turn on. It didn't so i gave up. Then a few minutes later i decided i'd give it one more try then it turned on. It apparently isn't batteries then. After that it worked perfectly fine until graduation came. For my last day of school i wanted to take pics with all my friends. I took it on the bus and my friend wanted to look at the pics on it. I handed the camera to her, it was on, and she didn't have a good grip and she dropped it. Now the lens is loose, sometimes it goes in crooked so when i try and turn it off sometimes the lens doesn't go in all the way and the shudder is slightly open. If i try and turn it on like a minute after i turn it off it won't turn on, even when the lens isn't crooked. Sometimes it will turn on and sometimes it won't turn on. It's very frustrating. Just now i cop ied some pics to from it to the computer. I have to turn it on first then i plug it in then the screen turns black (which is normal) then when i was done i unplugged it. Usually the screen comes back on. This time it didn't and the lens didn't go back in at all. I took the batteries out and the lens still wouldn't go in. I put them back in and nothing. There's no warranty on my camera, i got it from ebay. It was from the company new, not used. Should i take it to best buy? Or is there another place? Will it be expensive to fix? Or is there something i can on my own? Best answer for What's wrong with my camera? Can it be fixed at a reasonable price? Kodak C180?:

Answer by Agent Q
Kodak cameras have long had problems with reliability. It would be recommended to get a new camera, because continuing to use this would cause even more problems. Check major photography websites, and you would notice that Kodak has the dubious honor of making the most number of digital camera duds.
