It is best to shop around first before one decides on buying a flat panel computer monitor. It is better to find the best value for the money one is willing to spend on this electronic device. The price range of flat panel monitors is quite widespread from various shops to the other and also between brands. It is the very best to first have a look at all the market has to offer and then decide.
The cheaper monitors range at the cost of about one hundred dollars. The prices then spike up to nearly five hundred dollars. This is a high price to pay when one will only get a monitor after the purchase has been made. It is important to pay careful attention to the various brands that are offered on the market. Some monitors are affordable, but not from reputable brands. Whether the computer will be used for business or for personal use, one should be sure to purchase a monitor that is worth the price that one pays.
When one has a strict budget to comply with it d oes not mean one has to buy the cheapest option. The more expensive brands are not always the answer as the cheaper options have great specifications and are also from well known brands. It will take a little time to shop around properly and finding the most suitable monitor at the most suitable price. Stores charge different prices for the same brands and models. So when one is keen on buying a specific brand and model, it is best to compare the prices at local electronic stores and local department stores. Then one should take those prices and compare them to those of online stores.
Online shopping options usually mean added costs in terms of handling and shipping. Although these costs are affordable and that online prices are in most instances lower than those at the stores, one has to calculate all the online costs and still compare whether it will be less or more expensive than the stores. One should also consider than when buying online, one has to wait a few day s for the product to be delivered.
One should always ensure that the flat panel computer monitor has a warranty. If in any unforeseen circumstances the monitor is faulty, one is covered under the terms stated in the warranty and repairs or replacement will not be paid for. There is no better time than right now to go shopping for a flat panel computer monitor. Do take the valued advice to research branding and pricing before deciding on the perfect monitor.

i'm using a LG Flatron L1750SQ, so far, it had'nt give me any problem (fingers crossed!). It had different mode for different lightning condition like day and night at a touch of a button on the panel, with 8ms reaction time. As for the sharpness that you are concerned, i'm not really sure if the resolution of my LCD fits your needs. By the way, since you dont play high demanding games & movies, you dont really need a very sharp LCD. Hope my help helps you in your search for a LCD screen.
