Is the Lexmark Pinnacle Pro901 Cheap Printer Cartridge a Reason For Choosing This All-In-One? [bestcomputersprices.blogspot.com]

Question by WolfySteven: Are DS fans crazy or what? Isn't the PSP Better? Well, To be honest some Ds games are cool and DS has its good aspects but how can they for one minute believe that it beats the PSP? Graphics of PSP beat DS. PSP has more genres. PSP is for more hardcore gamers (Sophisticated games). PSP has loads of multimedia features all built in and other features making it computer-like but more portable. PSP Looks and feels far more "professional" Meaning that an adult wouldn't feel ashamed to carry one around. PSP has better sound quality. PSP is far more powerful and can run games like Grand Theft Auto. Almost every DS game can be played on a hacked PSP and so can GBA games, SNES games, NES games, PS1 games, Old PC games, Gameboy Colour games and N64 games (N64 games have loads of lag tho)! PSP has 2 control options. PSP has fully 3d games. PSP has one large wide screen. The price of the PSP is virtually the same! (By the way I'm talking about PSP original or slim vs the DS lite) (Before anyone says it...Touch screen is not a positive aspect for ds OR a negative for PSP. If the PSP needed a touch screen it would have one! The touch screen loses its novelty and just gets useless. Seriously, Who can agree/contradict me? I will use feedback as video description on my youtube video :P. BEST ANSWER GETS 10 POINTS! Best answer for Are DS fans crazy or what? Isn't the PSP Better?:

ds are really cool

Your reasons have all pointed that you believe a PSP is better for an OLDER audience (Teenagers +) If a DS is simple, then more children are able to work the user friendly interface better.

I agree with you because in fact all of the points that you have stated are in fact really true. i have been a PSP fan for a while. (have one myself) and have played the force unleashed with the PSP, and i was impressed on how great the game looked for a PSP game. id have to say that the PSP is hands down better then the ds, it really has no chance at all to beat the PSP

DS is better for my 7-year old daughter. It's simpler and it's games are more appropriate for her. DS has it's audience, you are just not it.

Okay your points in order... Graphics of PSP beat DS. -> So what, graphics dont make the game fun. id rather play a great game with bad graphics, than a bad game with great graphics. PSP has more genres. -> Such as? which genres of game are not on DS that are on PSP? i couldnt think of any. PSP is for more hardcore gamers (Sophisticated games). -> maybe because the PSP is aimed at more hardcore gamers it is seen as a more serious console, but more sophisticated games? there are games like Professor Layton, Lost in Blue, Phoenix Wright Ace Attourney on DS that could easily match most PSP games for complexity and sophistication. PSP has loads of multimedia features all built in and other features making it computer-like but more portable. -> Maybe not out of the box, but with third party utilities, the DS is just as capable of multimedia playback and even internet browsing. PSP Looks and feels far more "professional" Meaning that an adult wouldn't feel ashamed to carry one around. -> Im a 35 year old man, and I happily carry my DS around i've never felt ashamed once. PSP has better sound quality. -> As with graphics, sound doesnt make the game... bad sounds can always be turned down or even off. PSP is far more powerful and can run games like Grand Theft Auto. -> Cannot argue here... technically the PSP is a superior machine, but that power is useless unless the game uses the power of the machine to its fullest. Almost every DS game can be played on a hacked PSP and so can GBA games, SNES games, NES games, PS1 games, Old PC games, Gameboy Colour games and N64 games (N64 games have loads of lag tho)! -> Name 1 DS game that can be played PROPERLY on PSP...? yes the software may run, but theres no way the unique control system can be duplicated. PSP has 2 control options. -> DS has multiple, Touchscreen and button, Touchscreen alone, Buttons alone, Touchscreen or button, voice recognition, sound recognition. PSP has fully 3d games. -> DS has proper 3d games, Mario Kart, Diddy Kong Racing, Mario 64, Nanostray, Metroid Prime Echoes. PSP has one large wide screen. -> DS has 2 independant screens, depending on the game, the second screen can be either peripheral to the gameplay and show menus/maps/information, or be directly involved in the game. And how is the touchscreen not a positive aspect for the DS, it allows a much wider possibility for gameplay, sure some games have really crappy touchscreen controls, but thats the game itself, and not the fault of the touchscreen. some games would be a totally different experience without their touchscreen controls.

With all the facts you just laid out, who would dare disagree with you? =) But just to be fair I really think that the DS has some good points into it. But putting that aside, what you said is true. Here's what I think: - PSP has lot of genre to choose from, and it has great titles like the RPGs from Square Enix - It has great graphics. - You can play other games from different consoles using PSP via the use of an emulator - I'm not sure about DS but PSP supports a free Cheat Device that you can download free in the Internet like CWCheats and a whole lot of other neat stuff. - You can play PSOne games with it. - It really looks neat to carry around. Yeah I guess you already mentioned those things, but those are the things that I like about PSP. I guess what I'm trying to say is that for me PSP is like a swiss army knife gaming console, it can do a lot of things. It doesn't make sense right? Huff.. I give up.. XD

DS's are cool too, you know. Some people have different opinions from others. I love the DS because you can go on Pictochat, you can play GBA games, the games are great, it's got two screens and one is a Touch Screen (how can you not love Touch Screens?!) And there are many other reasons, but these are just the main reasons.

Ummm..What genres does the PSP have that DS doesn't? I can think of one (surgery simulation) that the DS has and the PSP doesn't. DS is getting a GTA game. DS has two control options. DS has fully 3D games (have you not seen Final Fantasy 4 on the DS?) DS has two screen with more total area, so more information can be displayed in an organized manner, and one of those screens is a touch screen, for more logical and simple control systems. The Touch screen doesn't lose it's novelty or usefulness when it is used well. Like in Trauma Center. You Phailzorz.
