The decision to buy a computer has become an easy one. Computers have become a necessity to every household and every business in the whole world. Most places have already forsaken the old storage media, and the old data keeping ways like having these big books where they used to have all the necessary information.

The choice between Notebook net computers and desktop computers must depend on personal needs. The buyer should have a check point list for what he might need and what he might skip. The price, need for mobility, available physical space, the need for frequent hardware upgrades and whether the PC will be used for one's personal use or public use.

If the buyer is looking for a PC that would be available for him wherever he may go, then he must pick a notebook net computer. Business men, university professors, politicians, programmers and students usually pick notebook computers.

When buying computers for public use purposes, as in banks, mun icipalities and enterprises, a desktop might be better, desktop computers are generally considered cheaper than notebook computers. Another reason for going with desktop computers in this case is privacy issues, limiting the amount of computers attached to a network is a must. That's why having a glued to its place desktop computer would be a good choice.

The space in your room and on your desk can be a factor. A notebook computer occupies a much smaller space as compared to desktop.

Question by : What would be the best way to get computer parts for a properly functioning computer that I can play DCUO on? My computer stopped working a while ago and I'm trying to put together a new one since that seems to be the way to go in stead of buying one whole. I am familiar with the usual requirements for what I want my PC to do, but I haven't bought individual parts that much so I don't know what would be good to get. I don't play many video games. I usually just have a few at once and occasionally get a new one when one I have has gotten outdate or when I'm just trying out a new type of game. The only games I see myself playing in the foreseeable future is DC Universe Online and Batman: Arkham City (when it comes out). Apart from that, I really just want a functioning computer with as little problems as possible with more basic things like Office programs and normal internet browsing. Obviously more memory would be better, but it isn't as necessary since I have an external hard drive. I also think more running memory would be good, but I don't know what I can get for the best price. I am looking to assemble a PC Desktop computer with good parts that aren't likely to create problems (though I know they will eventually become outdated) and only need to go beyond the basic requirements if it's needed to play Batman: Arkham City or DC Universe Online and would like to get the best memory and running memory possible for a good price. Also, I see people list parts for a computer and I can never tell if they're using the tower shell from their old computer or if it comes with one of the parts. I don't know yet what I'll be able to spend to get my new computer, but I am looking for answers now so I know what I need to put aside. Any suggestions would be appreciated and I hope will be able to get what's best for my computer. Thank You If there are any specific stores or companies that would be better and/or easier to buy from, I'm open to suggestions. honestly, if it's not a gaming unit and does not have to do anything special, buy a pre-built tower. it will have a warranty, it will work, it will cost far less time money and frustration and you will have it up and going in about 20 minutes from getting home. say something like quad core 3ghz 4 to 6 gb ram 1tb drive the come standard with dvd burners now and the only thing i could see you needing is a higher end graphics card, a reasonable upgrade.
