Monitor Ratings - How to Find the Best Monitor [bestcomputersprices.blogspot.com]

In this video I compare my old and new laptop systems. The systems featured are the 2.2ghz macbook pro with quad-core i7 (amd 6750m 1gb video card, 4 GB of ram) and a single core 1.5ghz powerbook g4 (1.5 GB ram). The focus of this video is the design and usability of the systems but I do give some examples of the power by comparing each system's gaming capability.

You can have the best personal computer in the world, but if you don't buy a decent monitor to go with it, you are not going to get the full experience with your PC. Let's say you have a quad core computer that is super fast and can play HD quality videos. But at the same time, if you don't have a HD display, you are not going to enjoy the whole HD experience on your computer.

Finding the best monitor is not that easy. There are a lot of models that promise you high quality pictures and unless you compare them all, you are not going to realize what you may be missing. I also encourage checking monitors in person (if you can) to make sure you are buying the right model. With that in mind, here are a few buying factors you should pay attention to when purchasing a display:

Top Monitor Ratings Factors:

Size: I personally prefer 26+ units, but you can always pay less for a slightly smaller screens. The bigger is the better when it comes to these gadgets, however. Brand: brand does matter here. Apple has the best units on the market. At the same time, their devices are so expensive. Samsung and ASUS too have great displays. Resolution: if you want to enjoy HD videos on your PC, you want to make sure you buy a HD-display. Widescreen: it may not be a big deal to most folks, but widescreen models are much more enjoyable. Speakers: you can always invest in stand alone speaker systems, but it'd be nice to get a model with internal speakers as well. Connectivity: make sure the monitor you buy has DVI and VGA connections. Some come with HDMI ports as well. The more options you have, the better. Price: don't overpay for a unit unless you can justify the price. Not everyone needs a $ 1300 LCD.

There are plenty of other rating factors that you can take into account before making a purchase. You just have to take time to do the research and save yourself future remorse and headaches. If you intend to watch videos in high quality on your PC, you owe yourself that much.
