Unless you are some sort of computer expert, buying a new computer can be an overwhelming experience. The range of options and the technical jargon can make anybody's head spin.

Buying a new computer shouldn't be as stressful. Most people compare it to buying a new car or even a new house in terms of the stress and anxiety it causes them. Save yourself a few bucks, go online and pick the software that you want, and install it yourself. It may sound overwhelming to a computer newbie, but trust me; it is way simpler than it sounds.

3. The store where you buy your computer from will invariably try to push you extended warranty for 2-3 years. Don't buy this if you want to save some money. More often than not, this extended warranty will never be called into action, and you will end up paying $ 100-300 for nothing at all . Computers go obsolete very quickly these days. By the time the extended warranty will come into effect, your computer will already be old and obsolete, and you will probably have a new pc sitting on your desk.
