With the advancement of technology, most of us have started to procure computers at home. Laptops are quite expensive than desktops. Today we find many people have started to us laptops as primary computers. One of the main reasons is that, laptops are easily portable. With the wireless connections that are available, these can be easily carried to any corner of the world and get an access to internet, where networks are available.
Laptops have become very convenient for most business people and travel men. Of course, people have started to use smart phones as well. However, with the help of laptops we can do all that we can on our desktops. This could be one of the reasons why laptops are bringing in a drastic change in the modern world.

We can experience this while we are playing video games at home. The joy of looking at large screens give more pleasure that those with small screens. Although laptops and computers have disadvantages, these can be over come through simple methods.
•Most of us believe that buying a laptop is quite expensive. This is because we always want to go for the best ones. This entirely depends on the usage. If our usage is only for browsing through the net, then a simple laptop would do and we don’t have to pay much for these simple laptops.
•Instead, we can go ahead with quite expensive desktops. Through these we can watch lot of programs, music videos and movies. We get monitors on high definitions and get you more excitement.
•Laptops are quite fragile compared to the desktops. They tend to break easily when dropped. Therefore it is always safe to carry a laptop bag. Question by Nikkigirl: laptop comparison/recommendations? I'm starting at a community college and would like to know what would be best. I've seen a Toshiba that I really liked, but Macs have a really good reputation as well. I'm very familiar with both types of computers so learning either type wouldn't be a problem. My only problem is that I'm not sure if Mac's are really worth the extra $ 700-800 that I would spend on that over a Toshiba. I've never owned either personally, but I've yet to hear a complaint about a Mac other than price, and I do believe that this could be a situation where you get what you pay for. I'm either looking at nursing or criminology and I want to know which would be better for me. Are Mac's really worth spending almost double? Especially for what I need it for? Best answer for laptop comparison/recommendations?:

First off - I love Macs and have used them since I was in college. That being said, if you are not using graphically intensive programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, or using the computer for intense video editing, etc., you probably are better off with the Toshiba (presuming the Toshiba and the Mac have identical hardware specs). I have had good luck with Toshiba in my business as far as reliability goes.

I bought this HP Pavilion dv7-6175us a few days ago and as expected everything was top notch. I haven't had a single problem the laptop, and it runs much smoother than any computer that I have ever owned. This laptop didn't only meet the expectations that I had for it after reading its specs, but it blew them away with its incredibly clear sound system(even has a sound bar above they keyboard meaning the sound isn't muffled under the computer like in many laptops). I have already put my time in to s etting this computer up and have been blown away by every aspect. I have experimented with newer games such as starcraft 2 and have seen the utmost quality produced by the graphics card. For the price of this laptop it delivers far more than one would ever expect. when HP designed this model they really did their best work; every detail of this computer is brilliantly designed. between the sound system even coming with a small sub-woofer, the outstanding graphics card, the giant hard drive, and the 10 hour battery life this computer really can not be topped easily. This computer is definitely the best out there for this price range.
