That aside, it's a question of what specs are important to you. If you're already used to a certain operating system on your smartph one (for example, Android or Apple iOS), you might want to stay with what you know for your tablet - that way it will be a quicker learning curve. The iPad may be beyond your pocket however, but there are many lower-priced options available.
Android operating system has a great range of tablets, some costing under $ 200. They might not be as powerful as their more expensive rivals, but they can certainly do a great job of taking notes, connecting to the net and using email.

Make sure you get the biggest storage size you can afford (tablet PCs commonly come in 16gb, 32gb and 64gb options) and look for a tablet with an additional Micro SD or USB slot for extra capacity. well you did leave me a stupid answer to my question but I will answer this. I use a Wacom Tablet for art. It lasts a very long time and most people use them. I hope you have these programs already because they are very expensive. Anyway good luck to you :) You can also share your art with the world using Deviantart.com. Its a great site and I use it also.
