ok.. -that $ 21 a month is ONLY for the laptop... nothing else. Internet access is NOT included with that. -No laptop comes with Microsoft Office. Microsoft does not give away for free, this product that they charge $ 300 for. The laptop will come with the free 60 day TRIAL of Microsoft Office, but that will expire 2 months after you start using it. -The website clearly explains that the "rebates" are $ 150 in instant savings, and free upgrades that total to $ 300 in "rebates" keeping the price at $ 700... otherwise, as the website you linked us to clearly shows... the price without rebates is $ 957.98 -Built-in WiFi does NOT mean internet access wherever you go. Especially not in a car. Built0in WiFi means you can connect to your home wireless router easily without having to purchase a separate wifi card. If you want internet access wherever you go, you need a Wireless Broadband Modem... which would cost you like $ 60 per month from companies like AT&T, since it is essentially a cell phone for your laptop. -Yes. You would need to save all your music to an external source, then connect that external source to your laptop. -This laptop you have chosen will have no problems with Youtube. This HP laptop *IS* a regular computer, just like other regular computers. -You can play games that have system requirements less than the system specifications of this laptop. I will answer this as best as I can _ the $ 21/month is the monthly payments to finance the laptop through HP. This would not include internet access or any add ons. _ MS Office is not included with the basic package but can be added. _ The laptop costs $ 699.99 in the basic configuration. HP offers reabtes for customized configurations based upon what you add to the basic configuration. _ Built in WiFi will give the capability to connect to any WiFi connection that is not secured and within range. There are mobile WiFi devices that offer you to connect almost anywhere but there are monthly fees associated with that. _ Transferring iTunes to the laptop will be within the iTunes agreement. I believe iTunes allows you to transfer music to one additional device but I am not certain. _ The laptop will play games and music when you insert the disk. _ You can share the printer connected to the desktop and then have the laptop join the same workgroup the desktop is in. This will allow you to print to the printer connected to the desktop. This is usually a job that the novice can not do for themselves but it is something that most with general knowledge of networking can do. _ I can not tell you anything about a Wii. _ Win7 Home Premium would be your best choice based on what you have said. Win7 Pro would give you the ability to join a domain and that is not something that you will be doing. _ the Intel i3 CPU are the loweer end CPUs. The i5 CPU would be better for gaming. I would go with the i5 430M dual core for it will give you the speed you need and is cheaper than the higher ended CPUs. _ Based on how you will use the laptop is how you need to configure it. From the questions that you have asked I do not see any reason to add a lot of higher end components to the laptop. Getting the Moonlight White case will not gain you anything. I would save the $ 29 for this "feature". You will not be joing a domain si I would save the $ 75 and go with the Home version. I would spend the $ 100 to upgrade the CPU to the i5-430m. I would take the free upgrade from 3 gig to 4 gig of ram. This is a no brainer. It would cost you $ 200 to add another 2 gig of ram. Too costly for too little advantage. I also think that $ 50 for additonal 120 gig of hard drive space is not worth it. I would keep the basic 320 Gig hard drive and get an external hard drive later if need more space. Unless you plan to do some serious gaming I would use the basic Intel Graphics card. Certainly the nVidia cards would give you better vidoe performance but I do not think the higher cost would be justified for everyday computting needs. I would also stay with the basic DVD drive. You may want to add the fingerprint reader for the additional $ 25. You could then just use your finger to log into your account on the computer instead of typing the password. No one else could log into your computer account without the password since their fingerprint would not match yours. This is only for your account on the computer. Other users with their own computer account on the laptop would still have access to their account. The WiFi security settings can be configured on the wireless router. They can use several different security protocols such as WEP and WPA. No one be able to access the wireless side of the router without the proper security key. Any computer using an ethernet cable connected to router ( such as your desktop ) will not need a security key to use the router. There will others that may suggest you get the high end of the upgrades that HP offers for this model. They are spending your money and not theirs. Keep it within the confines of what you need and not with expensive add ons that you may never use. I hope this offers you some help.
