Finding the Best Priced Storage Devices on the Internet [bestcomputersprices.blogspot.com]

Question by steph_pete1329: What the best option, Sony Vaio All in One desktop OR a custom made destop? I purchased the Sony Vaio All in one desktop and I returned it because for the price I paid for it, I could of gotten a custom made computer with alot more memory. The total amount for the Sony Vaio was $ 2042 and it included a two year warranty. I was told that with that amount of money that I spent, I could of gotten a custom made computer with alot more memory than what the Vaio had. I've also herd that Windows Vista is crap, it restricts you from downloading alot of things, and it doesnt work as good as Windows Professional 2009. Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I go back and get the Vaio or should I just get a custome computer? I have someone thats going to put the computer together. And, yes, Windows Professional 2009 does exist! Best answer for What the best option, Sony Vaio All in One desktop OR a custom made destop?:

I just worked on a Sony Vaio all in one that was no longer under warranty. The DVD burner quit working. The new one was $ 348 my price. The Sony All in One was designed to act like a Mac with nothing but a communications cable and a power plug. All parts are custom made and custom ordered. Buy the custom built one and shop around. For $ 2K you can get a nice one built. -tcw

If you know how to build your own computer do that, but since you probably don't you need to make a decision on what you're buying the computer for. Are there certain games you want to play? Or is it just for work? Remember, a custom made computer is great, but if you don't know how to make it then it'll probably be even more expensive to get someone else to make it for you. And yes. you may be able to get better memory for that money, but if it costs that much then there is probably something else in it that is REALLY good. But if it's better memory you are interested in then look at the different types of processors. See which one you want and then look for a computer that has it. And Windows Vista is actually quite good, it's just that a lot of programs haven't upgraded to it yet, but they are working on it, and in a few years it will be the best option.

Definitely go with a custom PC because for the price of that Sony you can build 3 custom PCs if you build it you self and with all the best parts. It's very easy to make a PC so don't waist your money having a pro build it as they charge to much to do something that most any of the kids can do just as good and if you build it yourself its only going to cast about $ 455.00 and for vista being bad no its good only if you are a gamer would I suggest using XP because it wont be that much longer until most of those programs that have problems with Vista and that's not allot will be using Vista and not XP and if its the warranty that suits you better I would not even blink a eye over it as a Custom PC does not come with the same problems like a store bought PC because i f you know whats in side those Computers like Dell and Compaq they are made cheap anyways and made to break

Since you bought a Vaio that would be a high end multimedia PC. Now if i were to DIY that sort of rig: AMD quadcore 9500 Phenom = $ 189 Gigabyte 780G mATX motherboard = $ 99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128090 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcbGV6Pfb6Q Seagate 500GB/32mb cache HDD =$ 120 DVD Burner = $ 25 Thermaltake Purepower 500W PSU = $ 45 Raidmax Smilidon casing = $ 60 4GB A Data ddr2 800 RAMs (2 x 2GB) = $ 77 64 bit Vista Home Premium = $ 110 Chimei 22" LCD = $ 210 (MIR) Total = $ 935, prices off Newegg Thats a savings of $ 1107!!

In this article we are going to be looking at the importance of having portable storage devices so that you can keep files on you at all times as well as enabling you to share movies and music with your friends quickly and easily. We will look at a few of the more commonly used devices and explain how to go about finding these products for the best price on the net.

These days' people are always using computers. One way or another, most of us spend a good part of our lives either connecting with people, working or using the internet for our own amusement. With the benefit of broadband speed connections for most people, it means that downloading programs games, videos and music is common place, and it is only natural to want to share these things. One great way of doing so is by using storage devices which are transportable. When it comes to computers most people choose to use memory sticks because they tend to be compatible with all computers. All you have to do is to insert your memory stick into the computer that has the files that you want, and it will act as a folder on your computer to which you can save things. Once this is done, you simply remove the piece of hardware from your machine, and you can now take that file anywhere you want! It's great for sharing, and for those that use multiple computers, it is a fantastic device.

If you are a regular user of such devices, you will be well used to running out of space on your memory sticks, so it is always important to be able to find a site from which to buy them. Obviously like anything else, prices fluctuate quite dramatically, so it is important that you do your research and you find the best place to buy the products that you are after. One of the best things to do in such a situation is to go online and look for review sites of storage devices. You should be able to find some of these and they should give you a good idea of where to purchase.

You will also find that if you hunt around, you can find sites which specialise in the sale of this sort of product, and other related items. If you want anything from an SD card to a memory card, you will find sites that sell only these things. If you come across a site of this nature then you are far more likely to be able to get a good price.

Another option is to use the price comparison sites on the internet. This way you can select a company who offers great rates, but don't forget to cross reference the companies who offer good prices with the review sites so that you can be sure you are buying from a reputable site.

Wherever you end up buying your device from, the sure thing is that they are a great product to invest in. Most people who use such devices on a regular basis tend to get more enjoyment out of their time on the computer. They allow file transference to be such an easy thing, and the storage capabilities are incredible.
