One of the best things that we have about the internet is its beauty of free speech. Nothing is censored on the internet. As a result, we therefore have a medium of expression, which a lot of people can no longer live without and an even greater bunch is beginning to get into right now. Because of this, we can now easily find ratings and reviews on almost any product in the market. With the help of ratings and reviews, consumers all over the world are getting help before they go out and make an actual purchase of the item they desire to have. One such item today is the computer monitor and so many people are searching for computer monitor ratings.

The good thing about flat screen monitor reviews is that they will help you purchase the best monitor you can for the best price tag there is for it. Without it, you might go and spend tons of cash on a monitor that is not worth the trouble at all. The question therefore that arises for many is - where exactly can one g et the best computer monitor ratings?

One of the best places that anybody can go to for reliable computer monitor ratings are internet retail sites. Internet retail sites for examples would have a section only for the buying and selling of computer monitors. Underneath each description of every particular monitor, you would then have your monitor ratings. These will be ratings that are given by other consumers who have already bought the product that you are viewing. Internet retailers will always have reliable user reviews and ratings for you. The good thing about getting your ratings from such sites is that, there are a myriad of internet retailers out there.

The next best place to find computer monitor ratings before you buy them are on independent sites that offer consumers a chance to provide their opinions. These independent sites encourage their viewers and readers to put up their opinions about different consumer products on their web sites. They also req uire them to rate the products usually on a scale of one to five, with five being the best.

The problem with computer monitor ratings is that you can only get the best ratings for a particular category of monitors. For example, these are two of the most highly rated CRT computer monitors followed by the LCDs:

AOC CT700G - 17 inch monitor with a resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels Dell E773c - 17 inch monitor with 1024x 768 pixels. The good thing about this monitor is that it has a three-year guarantee. If there is a problem with it, Dell ships you another one by next day delivery. Viewsonic LCD VX1940w - $ 185 for a 19 inch monitor with a resolution of 1680x1050. Other 19-inch monitors have 1400 by 900. Samsung Syncmaster 2053BW - $ 240 for a 22 inch monitor; general purpose LCD for gaming, movies and everyday home use.

In summary, if you are shopping for a new flat screen computer monitor, begin your research on consumer sites that provide reviews and opinions from people that have actually purchased and/or used the product. You do not want to waste your money on a monitor that has poor workmanship.

Thats a PC just for those lame posers at lan parties. You wouldnt need that system for playing CSS and I sorta get the feeling I would pwn you using a 250 bm pIII celeron Dude - why waste all that money on like buing the latest processor when you dont even know if the mb would support all those features??? Thats just----ughhh! And just check out the other stuff...like "Best" graphics card? How about saving on those show off gadgets and getting 2 cards hooked up???

A few things to consider. First, i'd look at upgrading the onboard LAN to this NIC: (if you wanna get REALLY serious) http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2485650&CatId=1175 If your RAM is upgradable to 8Gigs, you must be using 64 bit processors, but your processor listed isn't 64-bit. The limit for 32 bit processors is 4gigs. Don't undervalue your motherboard, it's the soul of your system. Make sure your FSB (front side bus) has enough horsepower to match your RAM. Also, i'd do some more research on a quad-core processor. Most games can't fully use it's horsepower, yet. I guarantee that windows XP pro will run that system a lot faster than Vista, as Vista uses a ton of RAM and video resources just to operate.

I am a poor manwho recently gota new PC & I was feeling pretty good about it 'till you told me about this MONSTER! All that for just $ 5000? Hell yes its worth it! Important notes: -The proccessor + liquid cooling - I hate it when you have a powerful machine but your scared to use it much because itgets really hot. -Free games! -2GB Ram. Upgradable to 8GB?? I thought the max ram for windows was 2GB? Or does vista handle more? - graphics card with 768MB ram. Thats more than all the memory on my pc. -320GB HDD - more than you may need but its not that much nowadays - because i like keeping all my fav tv shows on my pc -onboard lan - gotta love that - 10 usb ports - in theory you dont need that many (because one usb port can connect up to 147 devices) but... Whats g15 & g7 ketboard and mouse?

It's alot of good stuff however I would change several of the specs. Your mobo is probably Asus. Your sound card is probably SB X-Fi or if uberpro a M-Audio for professional sound. As for the Ram, not sure why they dont just go with 4 GB now. I made a system very similar to this one for @ $ 2500. As it is, when I play anything (Q4, D3, etc) I have no lag performace issues. Alienware will always charge an arm and a leg for their stuff. I do admit it is pretty good. However, their stuff is a little overboard. They also put in alot of junk for looks and gimmicks which sell their product. The physics card for example is not necessary. The one for 5 G's aint too bad. The only thing that I would be really concerned in this list is what is the HDD (10k rpm or 7200). Dont get fooled by it being 320GB as anything important. If you can afford it, then it's not a bad setup. If you know computers and can build your own, that's what I'd do and did.
