I bought a Windows Vista laptop a few weeks back, but the store clerk tricked me by saying that its the "best " on the market, but now I'm having problems with the Windows Vista (slow startup, bad compatibility, etc). My warranty covers a full replacement if I'm not happy with the computer. Which is the best kind of laptop computer? Please don't answer Windows Vista. If you could also provide me the link to its profile on the website of the store where it is sold (i.e. circuit city, best buy, staples, or an online store). reasonable price is appreciated. Thanks to anyone who gives a sincere answer. I currently have an HP white ceramic Windows Vista computer. Try to buy an apple mac this time,even though it will be a little expensive, its worth the price.By the way windows Vista is not that bad the way you found..i am using Vista.problem might be the producer of the computer(Toshiba,hp,dell...) try to by some good company like dell..or IBM.if you want to see a mac, you Can visit apple website, and also locate their store from the website.good luck.

This is more of a question of opinion than anything. But in my opinion dell or vaio (sony) is the best. However it might be a virus slowing down your computer, and besides that Windows Vista was released to ealry. Meaning there are still way too many glitches and bugs in it. Trust me i know, I got a laptop right when it was released and have had problems with it since. Even with all the updates, you might want to consider a windows XP operating laptop.

I am currently using Vista Ultimate on a laptop with a AMD 2GHz Processor and 1.5GB RAM. This is running well and gives a Gaming Video rating of 3, all other hardware rates at 4.2 or higher (Compaq V3142AU Upgraded)

Um..have you tried ordering a laptop either from Dell, Hp...etc. Have you asked any of ur friends about thier computers?? Take it back to the place you bought it and explain the problem to the store manager. That should get your problem corrected. If that doesn't work then go to their head office and don't be shy. Post the name and address of the store on this page and let us all know who it is and let us know how you make out. As far as "the best on the market" is concerned, that's a matter of opinion and preference, just like cars. Generally the more you pay, the more you get, but not always.

i have a dell here, the only thing i wished i had was more memory on here, but you can call them up and order a custom made laptop, you just tell them what you want to do with it music, gaming, making movies, pictures. etc.... just get lots of memory, thats what i can suggest.................
