Best Desktop Computer Deals - What You Should Know Before You Buy [bestcomputersprices.blogspot.com]

While most eligible goods, such as clothing and art supplies, have a $ 100 per item price limit, a shopper can spend up to $ 1500 on a computer without paying sales taxes. And it's not just old fashioned desktop and laptop computers, either. Tablets ... Area computer retailers get ready for Tennessee's tax-free weekend

When setting out to find the best desktop computer deals the average person seldom thinks that refurbished should be a first choice. The advancement of new technologies have simply changed the playing field for used computers in general. New technologies in testing and just simply better computer components have recently moved all the big names into offering refurbished computers now with great warranties.

One very important point to understand when looking for desktop computer deals is there is a big difference between used and refurbished. The thing is with refurbished computers these units generally are ones that a customer has received and sent back due to not liking a color or perhaps a small ding. Companies also make large upgrades to their computers all at once thus needing to get rid of the older units. By in large these computers typically go through an entire battery of tests and are usually completely overhauled. Many are completely new inside with new hard drives, motherboards or even processors. The final product that is released is tested again with very sophisticated testing equipment make for a great final product to reintroduce to the market place. This clearly makes for a great choice for the average consumer looking for desktop computer deals.

People often wonder where is the best place to find great refurbished desktop computer deals. The best place I've found is online. You can search a wide variety very quickly and locate the exact tower you need as well as compare prices with ease. This way you can ensure you get a great rate. Many local shops sell refurbished computers however I argue that buying on line is a better avenue to go as you also can compare warranties which can be a huge selling point. If one is offering a 2 year warranty versus another that has a 1 year warranty for the same price which would you take?

The bottom line is more and more are getting wise to refurbished desktop computer d eals. They are by far the best value for the money if you aren't in a hurry to make a selection. Obviously you probably wouldn't want to make a refurbished unit a gift idea but for personal use many swear it's the best move to make for the money. Why spend more and get less when you have a warranty to back it up? These are but a few reasons why I believe refurbished towers are the best choice when looking for great desktop computer deals.

Question by Lee D: Recommended Best DESKTOP Computer Possible for 00? I am looking for some recommendations for the best computer I can build for a $ 1400 budget. Use all $ 1400 but don't go over that. (oh and you can exclude Video Card, Tower, Monitor, and Sound Card because I already have those covered) Build me the best computer with these parts and use newegg.com or tigerdirect.com website or any reputable website and name the item and price. (please no used or refurbished parts) Things to include in the budget: 1. Motherboard 2. CPU 3. Ram (Memory) 4. Maybe even a hard drive.. I have a couple but they are not very fast so maybe I can speed that up but if you think thats not a huge deal don't worry about that in the final price. 5. (oh, and if a 750watt power supply is not enough to power up the computer your building then may need one of those included.. if it is big enough then exclude this from the $ 1400) Thanks! I already have a desktop and a laptop but im looking for ONE insanely fast one to replace my current one so I can sell this one. time for an upgrade. looking for suggestions. I plan on putting it together myself as I have done with my last two. just looking for recommendations on what to put in it. thanks everyone :) Best answer for Recommended Best DESKTOP Computer Possible for 00?:

get a i7 core or a quad core extreme from intel, the faster the better, just don't go overboard. RAM is very cheap, and more games at most takes up two GB. maybe go with a Gigabyte 965p-Dq6 for the motherboard, get a 1TB 7200rpm SATA Drive(don't care which). the power supply needs to be some where around 1kwatt( a lot) all of this should only cost 1000 No one should build it for you, you should build it yourself, it's more fun actually.

Here you go: CPU - Intel Core i7 930 - $ 295 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115225&cm_re=930-_-19-115-225-_-Product Motherboard - Gigabyte UD5 - $ 290 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128422&cm_re=ud5-_-13-128-422-_-Product RAM - G.Skill 6GB 1600mhz - $ 165 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231225 HDD - Samsung Spinpoint F3 - $ 90 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185 SSD - Crucial RealSSD C300 - $ 480 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148348&cm_re=sata_III_ssd-_-20-148-348-_-Product Total: $ 1320 If your powersupply is a name brand that is 80+ certified, then it should be enough. If it's not, than I would suggest getting a Corsair, anything 750W or above. I hope all your other parts make this computer proud. This is a monster of a computer, pretty much overkill for anything (except maybe gaming if you have a weak video card)
