Everybody wants the best computer monitors, but they are usually looking at cheap computer monitors. You don't have to spend tons of money to get a flat screen monitors that won't take up all your space like a CRT monitor. LCD monitors are definitely the normal technology today. The important question is what size you want to have.

I believe $ 70 dollar savings is not reason not to wait 2 days of shipping! You still have the manufacturer and online store warranty. Nothing is really different except you can't drive to the store and talk to somebody face to face. The phone works just as well.
The hard thing to get across to people is that the local stores "rebates and sales" are pure nonsense. None of their sales have ever come close to online prices. It's quite embarrassing after you do the research. However, they must advertise and present their merchandise in physical stores that cost money to upkeep and people to pay to present them and sale them. All of that cost money and it shows in the inflated price.
Remember these tips when you go purchase your next flat screen monitor. No matter what the size or the sales you see in your local paper.
