Theres a lot of... Variables with PC parts. Such as what processor do you want? Do you want multiple graphics cards? What are u looking to play on it? What kind of software will you load on it? If you are a little new at this, try building a custom PC at one of the following to get a feel for PC parts and other such hardware. ibuypower.com cyberpowerpc.com

Buy a nice video card, cpu, and at least 8gb of RAM. Get an ATI radeon 6870 for your video card. I have it and i can run almost every game on highest settings with no lag at all. I can even run battlefield on max. By the way. Try ibuypower.com. there prices are insane i got my pc for $ 1100 there. Included ati radeon 6870, intel core i7 3.2ghz, 2tb hdd, 40 gb ssd, 23 inch monitor, steel full tower, and liquid cooling. This would of costed me $ 1400 building my self and getting parts from newegg. I searched all parts up.

newegg and tigerdirect are great places to find parts you need. You could also try amazon. I would recommend you dont use any used, refurb, or open box hardware. For that around $ 1000 computer if you build yourself you can get a good computer, but it also depends on what you need. Things like: Monitor, keyboard/mouse, speakers, and operating system. Needing or not needing those things dramatically changes the build. You can reuse all those things from an older computer. (but with OS, it depends on whether or not its an OEM license, as OEM licenses cant be reused on different computers/motherboard) Assuming all the stuff above isnt included in this: -core i5-2500 (or 2500k if you plan to overclock) (~$ 200-220) (if overclocking get a cpu cooler) -Socket 1155 motherboard. ($ 40-150) Cost will dramatically vary on what features you are looking for. Id suggest getting one with only 1-2 pci-e x16 slots, as you wont be using more then 1-2 graphics card, as more slots dramatically increase cost. If you want to overclock you need a P67/Z68 chipset. Use the Z68 if you want to overclock and also have access to the features of SSD caching and the virtu video encoding. If you arnt using those, go with P67. Asus, ASRock and gigabyte are good boards for overclocking. If you are not getting the K model processor, and not overclocking get an H67 motherboard. -Ram. ($ 20-40) Its best to get ram that is optimized for your chipset you are using. As that way the listed specs will run at the listed voltages w/o any issues. (you can use other ram not made specifically for the chipset, but you may need to adjust the voltage to get those settings that are listed). 4-8GB is more then enough. Getting more then 8GB is dumb... you will never even use 8gb let alone more then 8gb... -HDD, ($ 150-250) for gaming you will probably want a 1TB 7200rpm drive, and get one with 32-64mb of cache. (if you have left over money, you can invest in a 32-64GB SSD to install windows to and maybe put a few games/programs on you wish to load faster) -Video card. If you are planning on hardcore gaming, id suggest an amd 6950 or gtx560 Ti. ($ 200-300) -PSU ($ 50-100). you dont want to get a cheap/generic psu. Go for something like a corsair, antec, seasonic, silverstone, thermaltake one. For a single graphics card + overclocking, you wont need any more then 500-600W (600W+ is only for multi cards). Just make sure it has what you need for your graphics (as if you graphics needs a 6+2 and a 6pin pci connector, make sure it has that). -Case ($ 50-120). you will only need a mid-atx tower. I recommend antec, coolermaster, thermaltake and nxat cases. rosewill arnt bad. Case is important, as you want good airflow. Also make sure to maybe puck up extra 120mm fans to add them if it doesnt come with them by default (front/bottom/side= intake. rear/top=exhaust. try to balance intake/exhaust, if anything go for more intake rather then more exhaust. based on total CFM, no number of fans). A really awesome case is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129097 But its also very expensive, so maybe get that if you have money to spare at the end. But any case that allows for multiple front/side/top fans is good. -Optical drive (dvd drive) ($ 15-120): depends on what you want, a normal dvd burner drive is 15-25, which is enough, but if you want a blu-ray burner it will be 80+ Just make sure its sata interface. Thats it for the most part. Just remember the 1st list of stuff like operating system, monitor, speakers, kb/mouse.

There are a lot of good home computer desks to choose from, but one of the best would be an oak computer desk. There are a number of reasons why this desk is better than a lot of the alternatives, but it does have a few disadvantages as well. One of the really important things to remember when picking any computer desk is to make sure you look at all of your options, that you do your research, and you pick the product that you think is going to match the best with your home or office.

The first thing many people look at when purchasing furniture is the look. Oak has a very traditional and class sense of style. It matches great with lighter colors and wooden flooring because it is a lighter colored wood. The lighter color also shows of the grain of the wood, which people who are trying to create that traditional home décor look just love. This is one of the more popular wood desks because of the way it looks.

Another big issue with any furniture you buy i s durability. Luckily for people looking at oak furniture, as long as it is built well, it is going to last a very long time. It is going to be more durable than glass top desks, and really more durable than metal that has welded on areas. Oak is much more durable than other woods like pine. When you combine good oak wood, with someone who makes the desk very well, you are going to have no durability issues at all, especially if you take proper care of your wood.

The selection of different oak computer desks is really a nice thing as well. They are built in your standard form, which would include some shelves to your right or left, and an area for your legs and seat to go. You are also going to have the standard computer desk format, which will have built in compartments for the different components of a desk top computer. These desks come in both large and small sizes, making it very easy to choose the one that is going to fit into your home or office. You will even h ave a large corner desk choice if you are trying to create a big workspace in the corner of a room for yourself.

When you combine durability, look, and selection, you can easily see why so many people choose oak for their home computer needs. If you spend the time looking for the best deals and the best selections, you are going to be very happy with what you find, and also very happy with the price, making this one selection you will not regret.
