Question by Dwayne: Home Recording Studio Help!? Ok I'm a 17 year old rapper. I'm trying to build my own home studio with everything to record with studio quality. I have a sterling audio condenser mic class a st55 with pop filter. I have quality bose speakers, headphones, and an ansus desktop 8 gb ram computer windows 7.. I need to know whats the best software for recording vocals along with editing, such as autotune, like i need to know the basics as far as plug ins go and how to make the best quality autotune. if theres one that has both please let me know, im not sure what i plug my mic into, do i need a mixer or a pre amp? My focus is mainly on the quality of the sound, i dont want it to sound like its recorded with a roc band mic lol. Um jus basically give me the tips and some very good software, prices dont matter that much, and i need some advice about what to plug my mic into.
