Question by : Best Laptop/netbook to get? Hello everyone, I am currently selling my beast of a computer (details aren't important) but I am looking to downgrade to something that fits me better. I don't game anymore (used to play WoW), the heaviest gaming I do on my comp is Mafia Wars lol. I am looking for a laptop or netbook that is economical but still has great HD resolution, battery life and DVD Drive. Basically all I really want to use it for is: Light web browsing, Mafia Wars... lol, online video watching and the occasional DVD to pop in and watch on road trips. I don't really want to skimp on the graphics I guess as I want to enjoy the movies/videos I watch. The top end of my price range is at the most $ 800, anything beyond that it may not be worth it. If for any reason you don't want Asus, I've also heard good things about Toshiba, but I'd definitely recommend Asus. I'm currently using an Asus, very happy with it, and will never buy anything but an Asus in the future.
