Hey guys, recently iv been working hard to get a good build for my computer, iv been looking around and asking tons on questions on this site, you guys have helped me heaps. Anyway i think im really close to getting there since I gave my computer a huge upgrade and it only cost me $ 200, now im stuck once again on a few things. 1. I live in Australia and i want to buy 90% of my things at msy and i need help picking out a good keyboard. http://www.msy.com.au/default.jsp?category=74&page=2 . this is what i can pick from, my first choice was the logitech g510 gaming keyboard, i then switched to the Thermaltake TteSports Challenger Ultimate Gaming Keyboard. After asking questions someone mentioned that i should get a better keyboard (mechanical) due to the fact that it might spoil my rig. So if you guys could find me another "good" one that will be great. (what is a mechanical keyboard, seems to me like the other gaming ones but plain??) (For some reason the blackwidow doesnt appeal to me) 2. Ram. I was going with an 8 gb ram but once again someone pointed out that it was obsolete because the price of memory has gone way down and to get 16gb was good. http://www.msy.com.au/default.jsp?category=30&page=1 I was going with the G.Skill Sniper 8G Kit(4Gx2) DDR3 1600 F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR so i was thinking maybe i can get 2? or should i leave slots for upgrading since that in the long term will be getting the best "bang for my buck" (why is this term used so heavily when taking about computer parts O.o ?) 3. Lastly, the ssd. i was previously going with the Kingston (SV100S2/64G) 2.5" 64GB SATA2 SSD HDD but someone said it was pretty terrible. Once again i live in australia and i cant get all the "really good brands". 1. Keyboard is your preference 2. Ram, stick with 8gb that is all you need unless you do video editing or CAD or something along those sorts 3. id suggest sata III SSD over any sata II SSD, kingston hyper X 120gb is best one on there (unless you want to spend the money for intel=slower=tiny bit more reliable)
