Intro: If you can wait, and are absolutely adamant that you must get an AMD processor, you should wait for the AMD Fusion line of processors, as they should be significantly more robust and less hot than the current line of AMD processors. Also, Intel processors are WAYYY better than AMD processors at the high end (and such a high budget), and I'm not being biased here because I'm an AMD fan.
