Question by MDTOHM: What is the best computer to date that you can buy/build yourself?? I am looking for a list of all the parts of the best computer you can build. Whether or not a site builds it for you (add link), I'd like to see every part of this computer. Of course I am talking about home based/gaming based computer. No server add ons, or multiple computer linked together. I am talking about one single computer with overclocked everything, 16GB of ram, triple SLI'd video cards. Everything that goes into building a computer of this caliper. NO LIMIT ON PRICE -Mother Board -Processor('s) -Ram (Type, amount, clock speed) -Power Supply(Wattage + efficiency) -Video cards and configurations -Sound Card -Case -Water coolant system and other cooling products (heatsink) -Hard drives and configurations -Best monitors to hook up as well as Mouse+Keyboard I will be building this computer myself (if I have to) and I do in fact know a lot about computer systems. Try Alienware or Dell, there basically the same company. And they make great PC's, also great warranties and customer service

dude dell xps 3000-5500$ got everything overclocked with the best graphic cards and gaming stuff and stuff n stuff.... u need!!!!!

Well the main components you need for your system are the motherboard and CPU, these items are what define the rest of your setup. There is not best product, however some items have higher or lower ratings. Take a look at newegg.com, they sell everything you need, and if price isn't a factor, the most expensive item in each category would probably be your best bet.

GO TO THE SERCH BAR AND TYPE INTEL X48 OR 48X, AND RESEARCH, THIS IS THE NEWEST CHIPSET (MOTHERBOARD) MODEL THAT INTEL WILL LAUNCH IN MARCH , IT WILL SUPPORT DDR3 RAM AND 1600 FSB PROCCESOR, SO IF MONEY ITS NOT A LIM IT WAITH, IT ALSO DEPENDS IN WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO USE IT FOR. BU REMEMBER THE MORE ADVANCED IS NOW THE MORE IT WILL LAST BEFORE NEED TO REPLACE IT.

Get a Nvidia 8800 Ultra seperatly to install in the pc, and make sure you get a decent Core 2 Duo, dont bother because a Quad core has almost no supported programs so by the time those programs come out it would be out dated,

Alienware and Dell both have the names but making one yourself will outferform there pcs. even the top ones.
