It does have most of the major features needed of antivirus software but does lack the more needed ones. This is still a great product from a great company that will hopefully gain more ground in the long run.

Each product has pros and cons and with research these will easily be found and can make the difference in choosing one over the other. I use a really good program made by trend micro called pc-cillan (or something like that, just look for trend micro) which if I am not mistaken is also the recommended by consumer reports. Norton and McAfee are also pretty good.

If you go to download.com and you can download free pc protection there. This site is great to get all your spyware, Ad-aware and anti-virus protection. I use AVG free and I have never had a virus. It's well worth a try. The AVG anti-virus is from Grisoft.

I would highly suggest Norton anti-virus. Their yearly rates aren't too bad for updates which you must have to protect your computer. It runs about 40 bucks a year or so which isn't much when you consider what it saves you as far as potential computer problems. Also make sure that you are running anti-spy ware programs probably da ily depending on your internet use. Ad-Aware is good and so is Spybot for spyware removal. The Kim Komando website (www.komando.com) is very good for shareware (free software) for spyware detection and removal as well as many other computer needs and questions. Hope this helps!
