i.> Lock The Keyboard: redefining all keys into an empty key.
WHAT TO DO AFTER VIRUS ATTACKS:
When signs of a virus attack have been recognized,the virus has already reproduced itself several times.Thus, to get rid of the virus, the user has to hack down and destroy each one of these copies. The easier way is to:
1. Have the original write protected back-up copy of your operating system on a diskette.
2. Power down the machine.
3. Boot up the system from the original system diskette.
4. Format the hard disk.
5. Restore all back-ups and all executable program.

If you are going to buy, Kaspersky Internet Suite is the best at any price. If you are going for freeware, you need at least one antispy, *only* one antivirus, and *only* one firewall. I agree with all those that reccomended Kaspersky Internet Suite. I have been using it for over a year now and have been virus free and had no problems. Along with that I have been using the free version of SpyBot: Search and Destroy and Ad-Aware SE Personal for spyware and adware stuff. Kaspersky runs 24/7 and I run the spybot and adaware once a week or after I had a major web surfing session. Also I have noticed that on most site that rank for the best anti-virus programs Kaspersky is always in the top three if not the best over all. Norton and McCaffrey both are rotten prog rams....used both of them and neither worked as well as Kaspersky.

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus. i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage. besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE. download firefox for free, Just have a try: http://www.securebrowser.info/firefox/ Good Luck !!!
