If you want the best 1080P projector for use with your PS3 you will be spending allot of money in replacing bulbs. You also need a dark room to play in along with a projector screen. I spent $ 3,500 for a projector and only use it in my home theater with a blu ray disc movie. You are better off buying a Plasma or an LCD tv, they will last longer than the 2,000 hours on a projector. Go online to Home Theater Magazine and read the reviews on projectors. Also look at your personal budget, a good projector (entry level) starts at $ 2,000 up to the high end of $ 16,000 plus. You can get a 42" Plasma 720P for around $ 550. Hope this will help you out.

The Optoma HD20 is one of the few 1080p projectors to be sold for under $ 1000.
