Everything is compatible, but one big concern is the PSU, and your missing a few components. My suggestions: Motherboard: Fair enough. If you want to overclock, then invest in a higher end board. CPU: Again, fair enough. If you ever plan on overclocking, I suggest getting one of the black editions of Phenom II X4 or X6 to get the unlocked multiplier feature. RAM: Good Video Card: Good PSU: Do not get that PSU, unless you're looking for trouble. If you don't believe me, read the Newegg reviews yourself and you'll see. Get a high quality PSU from reputable brands such as Corsair, Seasonic, etc. I strongly recommend getting a high quality PSU because the PSU has the HIGHEST potential of frying your entire hardware. Not only that, but low quality PSUs generally have inflated "max load" ratings and have significantly smaller life spans. Understand the risks, skimping over the power supply for a cheaper, low quality PSU can cost your ENTIRE rig. Whether you want to take the risk of using the low quality PSU or not, it's up to you to decide. Yes, all the parts are compatible with each other. Definitly a great budget built. However the Phenom II x4 840 IS NOT a real phenom. It used to have 4mb L3 cache, but then they cut it off for some particular reason. So now its considered an Athlon but they never changaed the name. Do NOT by all mean's use that power supply. NEVER EVER Cheap out on the power supply, keeping that power supply won't give you the watts you need and it won't perform well. Thats like if i gave you apple's with a hollow core rather than real apple's, just an analogy if you understand that. You'll be lucky if that power supply even gave you 400w of output power. And also if you want change the hard drive to a Caviar black series. I agree. Never ever cut corners by getting a cheap unknown PSU. You must get a branded good quality PSU like Antec, Corsair, Enermax and so on. A good PSU is one of the most important component for a computer and you want to make sure that PSU deliver what it says on the box. Even for a budget computer you must expect to shell out a bit for a good PSU.
